Requirements
Must:
- Considerable experience of automated testing including mobile apps
- In-depth knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and best practices
- Practical knowledge of React Native / React and Typescript
- Knowledge of API testing tools, e.g. Postman, and a desire to improve this
- Ability to analyse requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to derive test scenarios and test cases
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent judgement, decision-making & influencing skills
- Innovative and solution-focused with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience of working alongside delivery partner leads and third parties
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks
- Validate software functionality, performance, and security through established testing processes
- Ensure the observability and reliability of the product using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpsGenie
- Act as a custodian of quality within the team and lead the automation vision
- Collaborate with other Software Engineers in Test (SETs), Engineers, and Product Owners to balance product initiatives and continuous improvement
- Continuously inspect and adapt testing methods and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality software that is easy to support and operate
