Requirements
Must:
We require a capable, self-driven, and flexible software professional to support our multiple development teams in project management and software delivery. You should enjoy multi-tasking and providing project management support, acting as a lynchpin to help our organization successfully deliver fully qualified software products. We are seeking a process champion to assist our software development teams with planning, documentation, configuration, and delivery. Key skills you should possess include:
- Experience in software processes within high reliability, safety, or regulated sectors
- Familiarity with the Software Engineering Lifecycle
- Knowledge of Project Management principles
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing software input and configuration management
- Supporting multiple programs simultaneously
- Directly interfacing with software engineers and project leaders
- Supporting internal customer teams, such as test and lab custodians
- Aiding in the delivery of integration deliverables
Description
This position is a 6-month contract based in Bristol, with a pay rate of up to £65 per hour (inside IR35, umbrella) for a 37-hour workweek. It is essential that you have active SC clearance, as well as the understanding that there are UK eyes only restrictions due to the nature of the data being handled. This role offers a dynamic environment, supporting a broad range of projects and people simultaneously, presenting a constantly evolving challenge. You will need to maintain an awareness of the big picture as you engage in activities across the software lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in software and enjoy multi-tasking, especially those contemplating a transition to project management.
