Requirements
Must:
- Must hold a current SC Clearance.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with comprehensive knowledge in full lifecycle software and systems engineering.
- Strong background in systems integration, particularly with a focus on software-led integration, API design and implementation, and secure interoperability.
- Basic networking skills are required.
- Specific expertise in defining and maintaining architectural principles, patterns, and frameworks.
- Ability to ensure adherence to technical and security standards while identifying corrective actions.
- Experience with advanced software architecture, API integration, and design for scalability.
- Demonstrable leadership in software-led systems integration, emphasizing cross-domain interoperability.
- Familiarity with formal methods for analysis and design, and dynamically scaled containerization (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of architectures for sharing databases between processes and locking strategies.
- Experience with Linux platforms, particularly RHEL and/or Ubuntu.
- System Administrator experience, including patch management and monitoring (e.g., SCOM) to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of Secure by Design principles.
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, integrating embedded DevSecOps practices.
- Optional: Familiarity with machine learning models for object detection and optical character recognition.
- Knowledge of IT Networking is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as the System Design Authority (SDA) for a key project, providing leadership and governance to support solution development.
- Verify the solution from conception to implementation, acting as the solution owner and monitoring any changes.
- Serve as the focal point for identifying issues, opportunities, and threats throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the Target Operating Model is achievable concerning resources, objectives, and benefits aligned with the strategic vision.
- Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of the software system, including analysis, design, software development governance, and hosting.
- Facilitate successful IT health checks, testing, and deployment processes.
