Must:
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Platform, or Network Engineering. A professional certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCDP is desirable. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Entra, and identity services management. Additionally, familiarity with mobile device management, endpoint enrollment processes, Exchange Server, SharePoint, Cisco Webex, Cisco Jabber, and Citrix is essential. You should also have experience working in highly regulated environments and demonstrate skills in Windows Server/Desktop administration, RedHat Linux (RHEL), VMware, and Citrix VDI. Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl, or BAT is expected. We value excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
As a Software Platform Engineer - IDAM, you will work closely with the Product Owner and team to evaluate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You will facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including commercial, legal, supply chain, and security teams, to ensure efficient product delivery. Your responsibilities will also include tracking product development progress, identifying risks, managing dependencies, and providing ongoing operational support for IDAM solutions across cloud, on-premises, and mobile endpoints. You will analyze performance data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and manage mobile device enrollment and application management to ensure secure access. Core duties involve implementing, maintaining, and enhancing identity and access management solutions, documenting processes for operational transparency, and collaborating with teams to implement improvements.
Description
This role is based in Warton/Preston, Lancashire, requiring you to be onsite 3 to 4 days per week, with occasional travel to our Reading HQ. The contract duration is for 12 months, with a rate of £74.26 per hour (umbrella, inside IR35) or approximately £550 per day. Candidates must have Government SC clearance, with active clearance preferred.
