Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in SSAS (Tabular) data model development.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, including dashboards and paginated reports.
- Strong DAX skills and the ability to write/optimise complex T-SQL queries.
- Experience in applying AI tools to enhance analytics or business operations (desirable).
- Familiarity with Databricks and predictive analytics is beneficial.
- Experience with Python for forecasting or scenario modelling.
- Experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Team player with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver insightful, accessible analytics solutions.
- Design and develop reporting solutions using Power BI, SSAS Tabular models, and AI tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring as a senior development lead on analytics initiatives.
- Enhance and support existing reports and dashboards.
- Drive performance optimisation and promote best practices across reporting solutions.
- Ensure robust testing and documentation of new developments.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in data, analytics, and AI to drive innovation.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all business functions.
- Manage and prioritise your own workload and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

With the recent launch of a new Data Platform leveraging embedded Power BI, you will have the opportunity to shape content development, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the rollout of AI-powered analytics.
