Requirements
Must:
- SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain) is required for this role; candidates with current active SC will be prioritized.
- Demonstrable experience with enterprise firewalls: Palo Alto (PAN) & Fortinet.
- Familiarity with management platforms such as Panorama, SCM, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Experience with SASE products/services.
- Knowledge of load balancers & application delivery, primarily F5.
- Proficiency in vulnerability & exposure management (e.g., Tenable).
- Understanding of email security gateways and hygiene solutions (Mimecast).
- Expertise in network routing, switching, and access policy administration.
- Security knowledge in AWS and Azure.
- Ability to produce documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, Security Designs, Risk Assessments, and Network Diagrams.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Agile/SAFe delivery experience.
- Background in security operations, compliance, risk, or governance.
- Experience working with an MSSP is desirable.
- Exposure to highly regulated industries, especially in Financial Services, is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- As a key member of our security engineering team, I will expect you to deliver on the security portfolio, focusing on SASE and firewall estates.
- You will work within a SAFe Agile framework, participating in sprints and stand-ups.
- You will manage and track workloads via Jira, ensuring efficiency in our processes.
- Triage customer requirements into actionable deliverables while acting as an escalation engineer for the Security Support Team.
- You will support and mentor junior engineers, contributing to their development and success.
- Additionally, you will produce documentation and knowledge base material and deliver knowledge transfer sessions as needed.
- There will be occasions where you will provide support for out-of-hours work.
