Requirements
Must:
- SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain) is required for this role. Candidates with current active SC will be prioritized.
- Demonstrable experience with enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto (PAN) and Fortinet.
- Familiarity with management platforms such as Panorama, SCM, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Experience with SASE products/services and load balancers/application delivery (primarily F5).
- Knowledge in vulnerability and exposure management tools (e.g., Tenable).
- Experience with email security gateways and hygiene solutions (e.g., Mimecast).
- Proficiency in network routing, switching, and access policy administration.
- Understanding of AWS and Azure security principles.
- Ability to produce documentation including HLDs, LLDs, Security Designs, Risk Assessments, and Network Diagrams.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
- Background in security operations, compliance, risk, or governance is preferred.
- Desirable experience working with an MSSP and exposure to highly regulated industries, particularly Financial Services.
- Agile/SAFe delivery experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
As part of our security engineering team, you will:
- Deliver on the security portfolio, focusing on SASE and firewall estates.
- Work within a SAFe Agile framework, participating in sprints and stand-ups.
- Manage and track workloads through Jira.
- Triage customer requirements into actionable deliverables.
- Act as an escalation engineer for the Security Support Team.
- Support and mentor junior engineers.
- Produce documentation and knowledge base material, as well as deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
- Occasionally assist with out-of-hours work.
