Requirements

Must:
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and data cleaning. - Proficient in Power BI for creating dashboards and reporting security metrics. - Working knowledge of international standards and frameworks, including: ISO27001, ISO27017, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus. - High attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. - Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently as needed. - Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with active SC clearance being highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and operational support to the cyber security team. - Monitor and manage the team's shared mailbox and respond to day-to-day queries. - Engage with external stakeholders to support assessments and meet deadlines. - Analyze data to track team performance, support KPIs, and inform decision-making. - Handle sensitive and confidential data in accordance with internal policies and compliance requirements. - Assist in the review and tracking of Third-Party Security Assessments. - Provide support for ISO audit activities and on-site auditor coordination when required.

We are a leading producer of zero carbon electricity in the UK, looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Analyst to support our information security and compliance functions. This contract position, offering £350 per day, is set in a hybrid working environment with two days a week near Gloucester and will run until the end of the year, with the potential for extension. This role is perfect for someone starting their cyber security career, as it offers hands-on experience across various security frameworks, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain security standards, support audit readiness, and help protect sensitive data.
