Requirements
Must:
- Candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
- Experience with DevOps tooling and automation in secure environments.
- Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and security integration tools.
- Background in software development with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of agile delivery and secure software engineering practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- UK nationality and eligibility for DV clearance are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- I will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- I will write and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- I will integrate and advise on the use of security tools (SCA/DAST/IAST), such as Black Duck, Coverity, Snyk, and JFrog.
- I will implement automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework).
- I will support the configuration of secure secrets management using Azure DevOps and HashiCorp Vault.
- I will work across both Linux and Windows environments.
- I will support technical design decisions and ensure DevSecOps practices align with business and security objectives.
- I will collaborate closely with scrum teams, DevSecOps leads, and other technical stakeholders.
- I will contribute to re-usable IaC and automation artifacts and help other teams adopt best practices.
Description
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a cutting-edge programme supporting national defence initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Basingstoke, working with agile teams to implement and improve secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for mission-critical systems. Working within a fast-paced and highly secure environment, I will contribute to one of the defence sector’s most advanced programmes. This role offers excellent opportunities for career growth, technical training, and a direct impact on real-world defence operations. This is an excellent opportunity for me to work on meaningful, high-impact projects while developing my skills in a highly collaborative and technically advanced environment.
