Responsibilities

As a Data Governance & Privacy Specialist, you will serve as the liaison between the Identity Squad and our Data Protection Officer, ensuring alignment on privacy policies and data usage requirements. You will develop architectural frameworks and documentation that define permissible uses of customer data, translating complex privacy, ethical, and legal requirements into actionable product features and specifications. We expect you to work backward from product requirements to determine necessary privacy, ethical, and legal safeguards. You will design solutions to address problematic guest behavior while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations. Additionally, you will create documentation and guidelines for the appropriate collection, storage, processing, and retention of customer identity data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure that data governance practices are understood and followed. Finally, you will create control and monitoring mechanisms for complex data processes to ensure compliance and context for change as required.

This contract role is outside IR35, offering a day rate of up to £650 for a duration of 6 months, with an immediate start date. We are seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses both technical aptitude and business acumen, passionate about responsible data usage and adept at navigating the complexities of privacy regulations while fostering business innovation.
