Responsibilities
As the Cybersecurity Vulnerability Lead, I expect you to own the complete vulnerability management program, with Tenable One as the centerpiece. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining and delivering the strategy, policies, SLAs, and operating rhythm for the organization.
- Leading on risk-based prioritization using exploit intelligence, asset criticality, and business impact.
- Translating scan data into clear, actionable remediation plans for technical teams.
- Building dashboards and executive reports (ServiceNow, Power BI).
- Providing rapid risk assessments and emergency patch governance during incidents.
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with regulations such as ISO27001, CE+, GDPR, NIS2, and ONR.
- Driving automation by integrating tools and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Tenable and related tooling, ensuring platforms are fully leveraged.
- Mentoring analysts and security champions to foster maturity across the team.
Description
In this role, I offer you the opportunity to work with a leading UK organization that is committed to Zero Carbon energy production. You will hold a significant leadership position with a substantial influence on our cybersecurity strategy, especially in vulnerability management. You will be part of a forward-thinking Cyber Services function that is continuously pushing the boundaries of vulnerability management. This is a 6-month initial contract, offering a competitive rate of £700 per day, and is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance.
