Responsibilities
- I attend and influence through quality reviews.
- I work with Subject Matter Experts to manage process changes raised internally and externally, ensuring compliance and effecting change across multiple geographies.
- I provide appropriate communication to the department.
- I manage the delivery of the continuous improvement plan, capturing lessons learned to inform changes.
- I oversee the preparation, control, and issue of processes.
- I provide visibility of trends related to activities' scope.
- I act as the point of contact for audits, supporting them and closing non-conformance issues.
- I collaborate across the business to influence other areas.
- I manage the maintenance of internal authorizations and documentation, offering guidance to the wider department.
- I drive the development of effective Business Procedures across Programs, aligning them with the overall Programmes Operating model and capability enhancement.
- I develop, implement, and manage a plan to achieve formal Project Management Accreditation (P3M3 or similar) and strategize to increase levels of accreditation in "Programme Management."
- I manage and develop the departmental administration team and resources.
- I identify, plan, and implement improvement initiatives for my span of control and as allocated by the function, applying appropriate business improvement tools and methodologies.
- I work with other SMEs within the department, seeking proactive feedback from project delivery teams.
- I define, drive, and embed business and program management processes based on best practices, ensuring interconnectivity with all Company procedures.
- I capture, monitor, act, and report upon Customer Feedback and lessons learned.
- I support the Programme Assurance and Development Program Executives by conducting reviews with appropriate personnel across the relevant Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Phase Gate.
- I foster effective cross-functional relationships to capture adherence issues and improvements necessary within programs, supporting robust business delivery in other areas of the business.
- I provide training and practical support to ensure processes are adopted, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- I support the application and consideration of risk-based thinking and work with the Programme risk team to identify common process issues, proactively identifying solutions to support risk mitigation actions.
- I effectively manage and coordinate Improvement Project tasks and their interdependencies into the overall Program or Project, resolving issues as they arise.
Description
This position is with Morson Talent for a prestigious Aerospace client in Yeovil. The role is initially for a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. As an occasional remote worker, I will primarily be onsite (90%) while contributing to the overall success of the organization.
