Requirements
Must:
- Proven ability in software engineering and development lifecycle processes
- Proficient in C++
- Familiarity with DOORS 9.6 for requirements management
- Experience with UML and software design tools like Enterprise Architect
- Understanding of military and maritime systems, particularly sonar
- Knowledge of software configuration management
- Ability to communicate with both expert and non-expert stakeholders
- Awareness of ISO 9001 and TickITplus standards
- Problem-solving skills to address complex challenges
- Proven experience in Defence, Maritime, Rail, or similar industries
Responsibilities
- Apply a software engineering approach throughout all tasks in the software development lifecycle
- Solve complex problems and critically review results and methods to ensure quality
- Utilize Object Oriented Design principles in software development
- Engage in software design and requirements management using key tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices in system architecture
- Develop algorithms for signal processing and optimization
- Maintain awareness and compliance with industry standards
