Requirements
Must:
- C++ Software Engineering experience
- Experience working in the aerospace domain
- Experience working in an aerospace platform simulation team (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio and Simulink
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong sense of responsibility for own tasks
- Effective communication skills for reporting delivery issues
- Innovative mindset to support task completion
Responsibilities
- Support development of synthetic environments for crewed and un-crewed rotary wing platforms
- Collaborate with team members while taking responsibility for assigned tasks
- Seek support from colleagues and communicate delivery issues to line management
- Engage with experts outside of the Simulation team for additional information as needed
- Apply innovation to solve challenges in task execution
Description
We are a forward-thinking aerospace engineering company located in Yeovil, seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 12-month project. This role offers a competitive rate of up to £60 per hour (Ltd, outside IR35) and requires SC Clearance.
