Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience supporting complex IT project portfolios
- Strong understanding of PMO governance, portfolio frameworks, and delivery best practices
- Experience supporting portfolio-level financial management and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, dashboards)
- Experience with Power BI and data visualisation tools
- Familiarity with project tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or similar PPM platforms
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Able to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Support the management and oversight of a large IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Produce and maintain portfolio dashboards and performance reports tracking delivery, risks, financials, and milestones
- Support financial oversight of the IT portfolio, including budget tracking and forecasting
- Ensure projects follow agreed governance frameworks, standards, and reporting processes
- Work with delivery teams to maintain plans, risks, issues, dependencies, benefits, and resource data
- Collaborate with the wider PMO to ensure consistent reporting and portfolio visibility
- Identify and implement improvements to portfolio, programme, and project management processes and tooling
- Support governance reviews, audits, and portfolio decision-making with data-driven insight
