Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in hands-on Java engineering, currently working with Java 11
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and usage of Spring/Spring Boot
- Experience developing distributed, real-time applications with deep knowledge of Reactive Programming Principles
- Familiarity with tools like Akka, Kafka, WebFlux, RXJava
- Hands-on experience with both MongoDB and AWS cloud
- Industry experience within Financial Services, preferably within the Payments arena or with high volume, low latency platforms
Responsibilities
- Join the core engineering team to develop the real-time payments processing platform
- Contribute from both a design and coding perspective
- Take ownership of delivering new components and features
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and scalability of applications
- Operate in multi-functional delivery squads managing projects from inception to delivery/go-live
- Focus on Pair Programming and TDD as part of the development process
