Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an SAP Finance Solutions Architect with a solid background in SAP ECC. You should have functional configuration and development knowledge across multiple components, including document flows and integration points. Extensive experience across core SAP modules is essential, including:
- Financial Accounting and Controlling, with a deep understanding of financial processes, reporting, and integration with other modules.
- Asset Accounting, which covers the lifecycle management of fixed assets and integration with investment and project systems.
- Project Systems, to support project planning, execution, and financial tracking.
- Materials Management, including Inventory Management and Purchasing, with integration to Ariba.
A good understanding of S/4HANA and RISE is preferred, alongside knowledge of SAP architecture, including in-memory databases, data models, and Fiori user experience. You should also be proficient in analyzing and managing custom code and have peripheral system knowledge that includes SAP CRM, BW/4HANA, and Ariba.
Responsibilities
As the SAP Finance Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the Ariba Procurement and SAP FICO Integration. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), identifying potential problems to ensure the finance transformation is successful.
Your role will involve collaborating with IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate analytical needs into production-ready architecture solutions. You will lead the architecture of end-to-end SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. Additionally, you will work with SAP and third-party vendors to assess product roadmaps, influence future capabilities, and maintain alignment with enterprise needs.
You will stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes, support the evaluation of these technologies for development and solution engineering, and make appropriate recommendations based on the usefulness and cost of products. Finally, you will influence and contribute to the development of long-term SAP strategy and enterprise architecture roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals and best practices.
Description
This is a hybrid role based in Coventry, where you will be required to be on-site for 2-3 days a week. The contract is inside IR35, with a day rate of up to £750 per day, and a duration of 3-6 months. We expect the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
