Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud architect and/or administrator.
- A track record in implementing strategic architectural changes to support business goals.
- Experience in migrating marketing software, with an understanding of cost and performance implications in new architecture.
- Familiarity with the shift towards a DevOps, CI/CD culture and practices (e.g., automation) to enhance flow, feedback, and learning for shared success in team and domain outcomes.
- Understanding of how SaaS solutions fit into a heterogeneous architectural landscape alongside custom solutions to support competitive advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a variety of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical expertise.
- Appreciation of the role of implementation partners and 3rd party support teams.
- Understanding of how architects can support multi-disciplinary teams working in an agile manner to achieve continuous improvement in outcomes.
- Awareness of architecture frameworks and patterns and their role in the development and maintenance of software.
- Strong organizational skills and a logical mindset to support effective and expedient decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Bring deep technical expertise to conversations within the university context.
- Ensure relevant policies and standards related to your area of specialization are in place and understood to support students in achieving their learning outcomes.
- Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies in your area of specialty.
- Serve as a technical leader and problem solver, tackling complex technical challenges.
- Work collaboratively with teams within Digital Services and across the university to define, agree on, and communicate ongoing developments in your area of expertise.
