Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in Power Apps development, specifically with both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps. You should be proficient in responsive and component-based design and possess knowledge of SharePoint, including site creation, custom forms, and workflows. Experience with Power Automate for creating automation workflows is essential, as is familiarity with the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process for Power Platform solutions. An understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools is also required. You must be able to translate business requirements into technical designs and have a passion for staying ahead in emerging technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and build Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using responsive and component-based design principles. You will collaborate with business teams to gather and understand requirements, transforming them into effective technical solutions. Additionally, you will utilize Power Automate to create efficient workflows and integrations across applications and data sources. You will design and develop new SharePoint sites, pages, custom forms, and applications, while incorporating automation and workflows. Maintaining standards is key, as you will ensure that solutions align with best practices for performance, scalability, and extensibility.
Support for the ALM process for Power Platform solutions will be expected, where you will implement both manual and automated deployment strategies. You will contribute within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, work tracking, and technical discussions. Continuous learning will be encouraged as you stay updated on the latest features and advancements in Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure. Lastly, engaging in technical design discussions, performing code reviews, and upholding coding standards will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Description
This position is contracted for an initial duration of 6 months, offering a rate of £575 per day and is inside IR35. We embrace hybrid working, requiring you to be on-site in Gloucester for 2 to 3 days each month, along with an additional 4 days every other month for workshops.
