Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in administering Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Proficiency in RHEL 7/8/9, including installation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Strong skills in system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Expertise in user, group, permissions, and SELinux management
- Experience in filesystem and storage management (LVM, XFS, ext4, NFS)
- Familiarity with VMware and Red Hat Virtualization platforms
- Competence in Bash scripting for operational automation
- Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Understanding of Azure Linux Virtual Machines and related storage services
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts such as VNets, NSGs, and Load Balancers
- Experience with Docker and Podman for container management
- Knowledge in AKS cluster operations and persistent storage management
- Understanding of OpenShift cluster operations and Azure integration
Responsibilities
- Provide BAU support for our Linux environments
- Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage user accounts, security permissions, and SELinux configurations
- Oversee filesystem and storage management tasks
- Support both physical and virtual Linux servers in enterprise settings
- Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation purposes
- Create and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management
- Configure Azure networking and ensure hybrid connectivity with on-prem solutions
- Manage container deployment and operations using Docker, Podman, and AKS
- Support OpenShift clusters and related platform services
- Monitor platform performance and manage incidents or changes as required
