Requirements
Must:
As a candidate for this Jira SME position, I require you to have active SC Clearance and relevant experience in the defence sector. You should possess expertise in Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Software (JSW), and Confluence. A solid understanding of ITSM principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management, is essential. Familiarity with JSM Automations, Workflows, and Assets (Insight) is also necessary. Additionally, proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) and knowledge of ITIL 4, Agile, or DevOps frameworks are required. Experience with scripting or automation tools, such as PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on Jira Service Management and associated tools. You will collaborate closely with team members to optimize workflows and enhance service delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing ITSM best practices aligned with ITIL and Agile methodologies, ensuring that our project management processes are efficient and effective.
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for me to engage with a skilled Jira SME on a long-term contract, operating within IR35 regulations.
