Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and implementation
- Technical expertise in Linux operating systems
- Proficiency in databases, preferably Oracle and KDB
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Geneos, Grafana, and Splunk
- Skills in Python and Shell Scripting for automation purposes
- Capability to work across end-to-end Production Support
- Understanding of the trade life cycle from pre-to-post trade
- Familiarity with FIX Messaging
- Experience communicating directly with Front Office users, including Traders
Responsibilities
- Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues
- Interface with Front Office users to handle queries and provide progress reports
- Assist in recovery from technical issues
- Monitor production environments using advanced tools
- Ensure stability and availability of the production environment for daily trading activity
- Implement and promote SRE principles within the team
- Create an observable environment to quickly identify and resolve issues
