Requirements
Must:
- C/C++ programming skills
- Good practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or the Software Development Lifecycle
- Drive, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Capability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong verbal, presentation, written communication, and inter-personal skills
- Appropriate engineering degree or equivalent, with a focus on mathematics, science, or engineering
- Proven engineering experience in the aviation/aerospace industry
- Experience with safety critical systems and software in aerospace, automotive, or a related industry (desirable)
- Familiarity with web technologies including Javascript, HTML, etc. (desirable)
- Proficiency in C# & C++, Python programming (desirable)
- Experience in Windows application development using Visual Studio (desirable)
- Knowledge of ARINC, AFDX and/or CAN bus protocols (desirable)
- Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Work on one or more technical areas including Sound Systems, Systems Simulation Environment, and Visual Systems
- Participate in Full Lifecycle Design, Code, and Test processes as a Software Engineer
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Develop and implement software solutions according to established engineering principles
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure software quality and performance
- Communicate progress and challenges clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and software development practices
