Requirements
Must:
- Experience testing data pipelines, APIs or backend systems
- Strong test automation experience (frameworks and tooling)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
- Experience with SAP or ERP integrations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Responsibilities
- Improve testing maturity across teams working on data pipelines and financial data feeds
- Embed testability, automation and validation into CI/CD pipelines
- Define testing approaches across environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod)
- Validate data accuracy, completeness and transformation into SAP
- Coach engineers on testing practices and quality ownership
Description
We are hiring a Test Engineer with strong data testing experience to join our newly formed team supporting a major SAP RISE transformation programme that is modernising our infrastructure and financial data platforms. Youll collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to enhance the quality, reliability, and trustworthiness of financial data flows feeding SAP. This is an initial 6-month contract with hybrid working, requiring you to be in Manchester 2 days a week.
