Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of how a workplace operates across a diverse range of platforms.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, and interoperability among business platforms.
- Experience managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with external Business Systems Providers.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting system issues and coordinating problem resolution with suppliers and/or service providers.
- Experience in administering a wide range of business systems, including Salesforce, HR, and Finance Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and relationships with suppliers.
- Experience leading technology projects from inception to implementation.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly to non-technical individuals.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing third-party contracts.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate system requirements with a strong technical mindset, ensuring effective liaison with third-party technology providers to support solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Apply critical thinking and knowledge of information security principles to assess and challenge technical decisions made by both internal team members and external vendors, ensuring that system integrations and data handling meet our security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Lead the operationalization of system integrations, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless processes, data flow, and business continuity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with different teams to understand their requirements and ensure they maximize the functionality of the systems and platforms they utilize.
- Monitor and evaluate key system metrics to drive decision-making based on user needs, data, and evidence.
Description
We are partnering with a Membership Body in London seeking a Technology Solutions Architect to join our team. This newly created role reflects our commitment to optimizing the use of cloud systems and platforms outside of our core IT environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will review our current business system environment and help consolidate a complex estate to enhance user experiences and eliminate unnecessary process duplication. You will work closely with our external Business Systems Providers and internal Technology team to deliver a high-quality, responsive systems function across the organization. You will engage with Heads of Teams and Managers to address cross-organizational strategic needs and requirements. Your responsiveness to individual and organizational needs will be critical; you’ll escalate issues with external providers to ensure timely resolutions as needed.
