Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Certified Salesforce Administrator Credential.
- I have extensive knowledge of Salesforce and its functionalities.
- I understand process automation tools, such as Process Builder and Flows.
- I possess a good knowledge of Salesforce reporting.
- I am familiar with the GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018.
- I have experience writing or maintaining user documentation.
- I have previous Salesforce administration experience.
- I can demonstrate experience in driving system improvements and strategic developments.
- I have experience working with senior stakeholders to align Salesforce functionality with organizational strategy.
- I have experience managing external vendors or suppliers, including performance management.
Responsibilities
- I am responsible for managing the smooth and effective operation of our Salesforce system, providing hands-on support and advice to end users to help them maximize its benefits.
- I manage and own the support case queue, resolving cases where possible and escalating complex cases to our external support team.
- I gain a deep understanding of our complex custom setup, objects, and integrations.
- I deliver process and workflow changes based on business requirements and facilitate the smooth implementation of new Salesforce features.
- I take responsibility for system security, user access policies, and audit trails in partnership with a third-party vendor.
- I lead the evaluation of new Salesforce products, features, or AppExchange solutions, preparing cost-benefit analyses and business cases.
- I conduct pilot initiatives to test new tools or features before wider rollout and proactively identify improvements to the system, managing their implementation and release to our live instance.
- I lead the optimization of Salesforce in-house, working with users to develop new and existing business processes and automations, using Flows where appropriate.
- I collaborate with users and external support to optimize our complex custom setup and integrations, such as Eventbrite, Asperato, SurveyMonkey, and PowerBi.
- I encourage a culture of innovation by regularly exploring emerging Salesforce technologies to achieve our business goals.
Description
We are a Membership Body located in London seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The purpose of this role is to manage our Salesforce system, driving ongoing improvements through skilled knowledge of Salesforce. In this role, I will provide hands-on support and technical guidance to end users, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the system. I will play a key strategic role in building the long-term roadmap for Salesforce development, proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements, and leading the implementation of strategic developments. Additionally, I will work across the organization to gather user needs, deliver technical improvements, organize and prioritize requests for support, and conduct training sessions and inductions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to own and develop the long-term roadmap and strategy for our organization’s use of Salesforce, enabling its optimization and ensuring seamless integration with other platforms.
