Requirements
Must:
- Experience as an IT Technician in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Office products
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Entra, and M365 platforms
- Ability to manage Group Policy & Active Directory
- Experience with network infrastructure diagnostics
- Hands-on installation of mainstream software & MSI deployment
- Knowledge of Apple products (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle (essential)
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work
Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and support IT equipment in various schools
- Administer servers, cloud services, and manage local/wide area networks
- Assist school staff in effectively utilizing IT systems
- Respond to user support requests via a bespoke fault logging system
- Undertake change requests as directed by the schools IT coordinator
- Maintain and develop Microsoft-based end-user and server equipment
