- Experienced working with distributed and offshore teams
- Confident communicator who can influence at all levels of the business
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a department of ~70 software engineers across global and offshore teams
- Set the technical vision and engineering strategy across the business
- Drive improvements in software quality, reliability, performance and maintainability
- Work closely with Product, Hardware, Mechanical and wider R&D teams to deliver end-to-end products
- Strengthen engineering processes and agile delivery
- Own the software budget and ensure strong value for money
