Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for a seasoned generalist with a solid understanding of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems. Experience in the MSP environment is a bonus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 services and email services is essential.
- Familiarity with Intune, including Device Management, Conditional Access Policies, and Autopilot is required.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams setup, and Microsoft Azure administration is necessary.
- Experience with hosted telephony systems and Windows Server, including Group Policy Objects (GPO), Active Directory (AD), File Servers, and other server roles is expected.
- I expect proficiency in Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, etc.).
- Basic networking knowledge covering DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN, Routing, VPN, and WAN is essential.
- An interest and exposure to security, including firewalls and Windows security for servers and workstations, is desired.
- You should be a people person; I am looking for charismatic engineers with excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of IT projects, varying in scale and size, from entire IT infrastructure managed services to smaller projects like onboarding sites with a small number of users.
- You will also handle projects such as Termination of Services/Change in Managing Agents, New Internet Services, and DAAS refreshes.
- Your work will predominantly be field-based, covering customers mainly in London and surrounding counties, though our customers are located nationwide.
