Senior Applications Developer

We are a high-profile public sector organization seeking an experienced Senior Applications Developer to join our digital delivery team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior developer with strong Microsoft Power Platform experience to help drive forward a bold digital vision within a large and progressive local authority environment. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and continual improvement of software solutions that enhance user experiences and help deliver better outcomes for both the public and internal teams. You will guide a skilled development team and take ownership of delivering accessible, maintainable, and high-performing software products. You will play a key role in managing products across their full lifecycle—from shaping a strategic product roadmap to ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Additionally, you will work on projects involving robotic process automation (RPA) and AI capability development.
