Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in credit control or related financial roles. You should have proficiency in using accounting software, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients. Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email, are essential, along with a high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines is required. Fluency in both German and English, speaking and writing, is mandatory.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for:
- Contacting business customers when payments are overdue
- Checking credit records and tracing missing debtors
- Setting up repayment plans and working with debt counsellors
- Setting up and maintaining customer files
- Processing payments
- Initiating legal proceedings if debts are not paid within agreed timeframes
- Liaising with solicitors
- Performing any other ad hoc duties as needed
