Requirements
Must:
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Information Technology or similar qualification, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience with Windows desktop technologies (including Apple Macs) and in an ICT support role
- Current driving licence
- ITIL Foundation Qualification (desirable)
- Customer care experience (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Council and school staff, addressing hardware and software issues
- Work independently and serve as the first port of call for IT-related challenges
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Assist staff in effectively using technology to enhance their work
- Support a diverse range of devices and software across settings in Midlothian
Description
We are looking for a bright, customer-focused IT expert to join our technical support team in Midlothian. This permanent position is based at Fairfield House, with a commitment of 36 hours per week throughout the year. As part of our flexible employer ethos, we welcome applicants seeking flexible work arrangements. Our minimum salary for this role is £32,554.06 per annum.
