Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in a 3rd line or senior IT support role
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID)
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
- Networking fundamentals (VPNs, firewalls, switching)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment (desirable)
- Exposure to security standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials) (desirable)
- PowerShell or scripting experience (desirable)
- VoIP / telephony systems (desirable)

Responsibilities
- Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex technical issues
- Lead and deliver infrastructure and cloud projects
- Maintain and optimise Microsoft 365 and server environments
- Work closely with clients to design and implement technical solutions
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- Identify opportunities for automation, improvement, and standardisation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across desktop, server, and network environments
- Design and implement solutions across Microsoft 365, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Entra ID
- Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
- Support virtualised environments (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Monitor systems, backups, and security alerts
- Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and systems

We are looking for a highly capable Senior IT Engineer to join our well-established IT consultancy in Worthing.
