Requirements
Must:
- Xilinx RFSoC and/or Software Defined Radio experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA engineering
- Strong focus on VHDL development on AMD Xilinx platforms (Vivado)
- DSP expertise required
- Experience coding for on-chip ARM cores
- Experience using external DDR
- Appreciation of wider system architecture, peripheral hardware, and software
- Experience with multi-clock systems and GPS synchronization
- Clear leadership potential, with scope to lead the FPGA team based on performance
Responsibilities
- Identify problems and take ownership of solutions
- Develop and implement VHDL designs on Xilinx platforms
- Collaborate with team members on FPGA engineering tasks
- Lead project discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and support succession planning within the team
Description
We are a forward-thinking company seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join our team. Our current team consists of two FPGA engineers and we are looking for someone to help us enhance our capabilities as one of our long-term contractors approaches retirement. This role is critical to our succession planning and offers a chance for you to step into a leadership role based on your performance.
