Must:
We are looking for candidates with a BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.). You should have extensive experience in implementing real-time rendering algorithms, including ray tracing or global illumination algorithms. Excellent GPU shader programming skills using GLSL or HLSL are essential. Hands-on experience with one or more graphics APIs such as Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal, DirectX 11 or 12, and/or OpenCL is required. Additionally, strong programming skills in C or C++ are important. A PhD in a relevant field and experience with rendering algorithms used in game engines like Unreal, Unity, or CryEngine would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to propose new ideas and develop innovative graphics and rendering algorithms for mobile GPUs. You will analyze GPU applications to identify opportunities for performance and power improvements, profile and optimize rendering code and GPU shaders. Publishing research papers or patents for new graphics algorithms will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will serve as the technical lead for the graphic algorithm team.
Description
This position is for a senior graphics algorithm expert with a strong background in real-time rendering algorithms on GPU or advanced graphics and rendering algorithms. You will join a team that is at the forefront of 3D graphics algorithm development, working particularly on real-time rendering applications for 3D games. A deep understanding of graphics algorithms used in game engines such as Unreal and Unity will be crucial, including familiarity with deferred shading/lighting, physics-based rendering, advanced image processing, voxel-based global illumination, screen space reflection, occlusion culling, shadow algorithms, and anti-aliasing algorithms. Experience in global illumination and ray tracing will also be highly regarded.
