Requirements
Must:
- Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR equivalent experience
- Experience with developing and delivering customer demos/proof of concepts for Security across competitive offerings
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
- Experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
- Certification in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Cloud Security
- One or more Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, etc. is preferred
- Advising Client Technical Decisions: Business Knowledge, Competitive Analysis, Driving Insight-Led Conversations, Strategic Technical Planning, Technology Industry Knowledge
- Demonstrating Microsoft Solution Capabilities: Cloud Security, Formal Presentation Delivery and Storytelling, Microsoft Products, Pilots and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Product Demonstration, Third Party Applications
- Readiness for Deployment: Architecture Design, Problem Solving, Quality Assurance, Troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, driving technical wins for security opportunities
- Deep technical understanding of Microsoft security architectures, solutions, and technologies
- Coordinate weekly with sellers and managers to understand and prioritize opportunities, compete scenarios, and engagements
- Remediate blockers and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies
- Engage proactively with customers, building credibility as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Security
- Develop strategies and recommendations to improve the clients security posture, shaping technical win plans
- Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions
- Demonstrate proof of concepts, apply architecture patterns, and integrate solutions into customer environments
- Engage and scale with teams both within and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle
- Stay sharp and share knowledge, enabling further scale and growth for the Security business
