Data Center Technician

- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifying the cause(s) of issues and replacing faulty components with minimal customer and business disruption - Conduct post-execution quality checks, ensuring grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up according to safety protocols and deployment standards - Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes, following standard procedures with minimal guidance - Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate Microsoft data center operations management units, Technician Leads, and engineering specialists - Assist and provide guidance to other technicians on challenging or complex tasks - Complete required training aligned to the role and workload; observe experienced technicians for hands-on experience - Contribute to a positive and effective team environment by sharing information, attending team meetings, and staying informed about the status of others work - Take pride in service quality and user experience, displaying accountability and ownership of data center facilities - Embody our culture and values
