Requirements
Must:
- Extensive, hands-on experience in strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work
- Understanding of GenAI, Migration, Apps Modernization, Data Platform, Security, Developer marketplace, or other product areas relevant to the Cloud & AI Platforms solution area is preferred
- Demonstrable market and competitor expertise
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field beneficial but not essential
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure / Cloud & AI Platforms portfolio, including competitive offerings and integration of Azure AI
- Understanding of Microsoft’s broader AI strategy and the critical role Cloud & AI Platforms plays in the bigger picture
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
- Open to candidates based within the EMEA region
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute compete strategies aligned to business priorities, leading the creation of compete plans integrating market intelligence, customer feedback, and field insights
- Equip sales and marketing teams with competitive insights, playbooks, and objection-handling guidance while driving adoption of compete tools
- Partner with STU, CSU, GBBs, and Marketing to align compete efforts with GTM motions, acting as the primary liaison to the Competitive Intelligence Group
- Provide direct support on high-value competitive deals, including executive briefings, TCO modelling, and migration strategy development
- Track competitive trends, win/loss data, and field feedback to inform strategy and present insights to leadership during planning cycles

We are part of the Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team, playing an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan while driving operational excellence. Our team focuses on competitive opportunities across EMEA, supporting our teams with world-class programs and commercial constructs to succeed. We are looking for a highly driven individual to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) team, where this role will allow you to accelerate your career growth, develop business acumen, and sharpen your leadership skills. We recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site as part of our Flexible Work approach.
