Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
- Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and File/Print Services
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Good knowledge of networking, VoIP systems, and hardware installation
- Experience providing support both remotely and on-site
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Must have the right to work in the UK and no criminal convictions
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in healthcare IT or with digital X-ray systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Datto PSA/RMM, or Datto BCDR backup solutions
- Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site IT support and troubleshooting for client systems
- Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication at all times
- Carry out installations, maintenance visits, and site surveys
- Manage and resolve tickets through our helpdesk system
- Keep accurate documentation and ensure issues are properly tracked
- Assist with project delivery and implementation
- Be available for occasional Saturday callouts (typically one per month)

Were looking for an experienced IT Field Service Engineer to join our team in Scotland. This is a field-based position, and youll be traveling to client sites regularly. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be the face of Microminder, helping our clients stay operational, secure, and happy. Youll handle on-site installations, maintenance visits, and troubleshooting, working closely with our Service Delivery Team to resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to project work and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies.
