Requirements

Must:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. - Project management experience across full product lifecycles, with knowledge of Agile, iterative delivery, and Waterfall/SDLC methods. - Experience with ERP, IT delivery or digital solution implementations. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Growing strength in stakeholder management, diplomacy, and influencing across varied teams. - Able to work analytically and creatively in a collaborative, problem-solving environment. - Self-driven and able to adapt to changing priorities and demands. - Strong relationship building skills to support team performance and align stakeholders. - Experience leading and motivating teams, including internal and external members, while ensuring accountability. - Flexible and able to adjust to shifting timelines, priorities, and challenges. - Committed to supporting an inclusive and diverse workplace.

Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver business and technology projects of small to moderate scale, ensuring initiatives support intended business goals. - Apply project management structure according to project complexity and organizational impact, continuously managing expectations and timelines. - Take ownership of project coordination, including planning activities, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress while ensuring team accountability. - Supervise all project activities to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget, providing direction to the project team. - Foster a positive team environment through in-person or virtual leadership, motivating individuals to meet responsibilities and milestones. - Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring successful execution and handover. - Track, monitor, and manage project outcomes, resolving conflicts, dependencies, risks, and critical path items. - Prepare and deliver project updates and presentations for sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams with clear status updates. - Engage confidently with external vendors and professional services partners, utilizing leadership support as needed. - Apply relevant functional and technical knowledge to align technology, business processes, and operational needs with project strategies.

We are a leading British multinational engineering company looking for an IT Project Manager to support various technology-led projects. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working based out of Birmingham. We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000, an up to 20% bonus, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension plan with company contributions ranging from 6% to 12%, and life assurance at four times the salary.
