Relevant IT certifications or qualifications are desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide first-line IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving user queries. Your duties will include maintaining and updating IT systems and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations, assisting in the installation and configuration of hardware and software, and monitoring system performance to implement improvements where necessary. You will also ensure security protocols and data protection measures are adhered to, collaborate with the technology team to support projects and system upgrades, and document and maintain records of IT processes and solutions. Additionally, you will provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and tools, confidently support Windows, Apple, and Android devices, manage basic Windows Server administration, and ensure compliance with security requirements such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
Description
This IT Support role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical assistance within our highly successful business. You will install, configure, and support modern productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint. You should have a good understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and basic troubleshooting of network issues. Conducting hardware and software inventory, ensuring licensing compliance, and collaborating with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement new technologies and solve complex problems will also be part of your responsibilities. You will create and update technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials as needed.
