We are looking for an IT Network Support Engineer with at least 2-3 years of experience at a 2nd/3rd Line level in the following areas:
- Windows 10 / 11
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Office 365 / EntraID
- Virtualization - VMWare / Hyper V
- Networking - router, switch, firewall, VLAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP
Excellent communication skills are essential for this support-focused technical position within a Managed Service environment.
Responsibilities
As the IT Network Support Engineer, you will join our Helpdesk team, providing expert 2nd and 3rd Line level technical support for our customer base. Your responsibilities will encompass the full stack of Microsoft technologies, including networking, security, storage, and disaster recovery. This will involve troubleshooting and supporting:
- Office 365
- Active Directory
- Windows Server administration
- TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN support
You will serve as an escalation point for the 1st Line team and have the opportunity to guide and support junior members. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project implementation specialists, with the opportunity to grow your skills into project-based work over time. While this role is site-based at our Coventry head office, you may also visit customer sites as your experience grows.
