You should possess a strong understanding of retail trading systems, including pricing, promotions, merchandising, and category management. A background in Systems Management, Business Analysis, or Solution Design, along with a clear progression into Product Management, is essential. You should have excellent leadership and people development skills, with a history of building and managing teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are a must, as you will be comfortable engaging at senior levels. A commercial mindset that combines customer empathy with data-driven decision-making is critical. We value energy, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help build something from the ground up.
Responsibilities
As our Group Product Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and delivering our product strategy from the ground up. Your key responsibilities will include defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with our business goals. You will lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and optimization. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and scaling a newly formed Product and Business Analysis team, developing frameworks, processes, and best practices. Partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success will be essential to deliver market-leading SaaS solutions. Staying close to our customers to understand their challenges will be crucial to influence product direction and drive continuous improvement. You will also identify market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive opportunities to shape innovation, using data and insights to inform decision-making and measure product performance.

We are an established SME technology business specializing in enterprise SaaS solutions for the retail sector, supporting some of the UK's leading retailers to optimize trading operations. As we enter an exciting phase of growth, we are investing in product innovation and expanding our product management capability to strengthen our market position. We offer a competitive salary between £90,000 - £100,000 per annum, an office-based position in Leeds, Yorkshire, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and life insurance and 27 days of holiday.
