Must:
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst with strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices. You should have experience working with customer master data, including client onboarding, KYC, CRM systems, and reference data. An understanding of how customer data flows through various business processes and systems is essential. You must demonstrate experience applying governance frameworks, lineage, and quality controls to customer data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to customer data such as BCBS 239 and data privacy laws. Additionally, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in data management tools and software, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are crucial. A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams is also important.
Responsibilities
As our Data Governance Analyst, you will develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will support the management of data quality, integrity, and security across various systems and processes. Collaborating with stakeholders to define data standards and best practices within the analytics department will be a key part of your role. Your responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on data governance metrics and key performance indicators, conducting data audits, and recommending improvements to enhance data reliability and usage. You will provide guidance and training to teams on data governance principles and tools while assisting in risk assessments related to data management and governance. Lastly, you will work closely with IT and business units to align data governance strategies with our organizational goals.
Description
