Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who possesses proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. You should have strong skills in SQL and data manipulation, with experience in Alteryx and Teradata being highly desirable. Experience within the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment is essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices is necessary. Additionally, you should be able to effectively communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder needs. You will analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights for the retail business and collaborate with internal teams to gather reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy. You will support our Analytics department in creating predictive models and trend analyses while identifying opportunities for process improvements through data analysis. Maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide training and support to team members on business intelligence tools and systems, and stay updated on the latest BI technologies to suggest relevant implementations.
Description
This position is with a well-established organization in the retail industry, known for its significant presence across the UK. Our medium-sized Business Intelligence team is based in Swindon, and we are committed to leveraging data to optimize our operations and enhance customer service. The role requires a minimum of 2 days per week onsite and is offered as a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. We offer a competitive salary in the range of £50,000 to £55,000, along with a cash car allowance of £4,000 annually.
