Requirements
Must:
- Advanced analytical skills using Excel, SQL, and Power BI (DAX / Power Query)
- Forecasting and Planning experience in large scale operations (Field and/or Contact Centres)
- Experience in building, developing, and maintaining Excel forecasting models
- Ability to use Excel at an advanced level to design and manage complex forecasting models
- Awareness and ability to create and develop models and solutions for problem-solving activities and scenario modelling
- Strong modelling skills to develop and build from concept to strategic solutions in Demand Planning
- Ability to create reports in Power BI, knowledge of Tableau or other analytical/reporting solutions
Responsibilities
- Conduct forecast modelling on a weekly, daily, and hourly level for customer demand planning
- Utilize multiple statistical forecasting methods to analyse and extract insights from large data sets using SQL
- Produce accurate weekly demand forecasts (rolling 0 - 26 weeks) across lines of business
- Manage seasonality factors, volume driver analysis, and special event forecasting
- Provide insights to enable Operational leads and Resource Planning teams to make informed decisions
- Produce and maintain forecast analysis and operational performance reporting
- Support the Senior Planning and Forecasting Manager with long-term forecasting and planning processes
- Forecast daily demand requirements to optimize KPIs and SLAs
- Share best practices with colleagues and stakeholders in the Forecasting & Planning team
- Continuously review performance to ensure forecast accuracy and incorporate lessons learned into future forecasts
