Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications tailored to organisational needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse technical requirements
- Ensure the maintenance and optimisation of existing software systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot application issues as needed
- Document software development processes and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new application solutions
- Implement security best practices within all software developments
- Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the public sector
Description
We are a client in the Public Sector looking to expand our team with an Application Developer. This role can be performed mostly remotely, with occasional travel to our head office in Manchester. We offer 25 days of leave plus 3 additional days off at Christmas, a generous pension plan of 28.9%, on-the-job training, and other benefits such as generous sick pay, and paid maternity, paternity, and adoptive parental leave, as well as 5 days for personal and religious reasons.
