Requirements
Must:
- Production experience in Azure (essential)
- Strong problem-solving and delivery mindset
- Strong IaC capability, ideally Terraform (essential)
- Strong scripting or programming capability (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Infrastructure automation experience
- Kubernetes experience essential across cloud (upgrades, troubleshooting, workload patterns, ideally Azure) (essential)
- Development background preferred
- Ability to improve developer workflows via automation, templates, and documentation
- Clear communication and collaboration across platform, security, and software teams
Responsibilities
- Design, run, and enhance a secure and dependable cloud platform
- Take responsibility for the health, performance, and ongoing development of Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) environments
- Support a large-scale migration from on-premise data centres into Azure
- Deliver lift-and-shift for Windows-based virtual machines and containerisation into AKS
- Focus on improving observability, resilience, disaster recovery, and platform scalability post-migration
- Work closely with developers to design and operate reliable, cloud-native solutions

This role allows for a working pattern of 2-3 days per week in Central London.
