Requirements
Must:
- A solid background in Data Architecture
- Hands-on experience across data and software design
- Experience with cloud data platforms, with Microsoft Fabric as the preferred option
- Experience with modern data warehousing
- Strong data modeling skills across relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with governance, metadata, master data management, and integration, including ETL, ELT, and API-based approaches
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design the data architecture that supports everything from reporting and analytics to operational systems. You will collaborate with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to define how data is modeled, integrated, stored, and governed across the business. There is ample room for you to shape the direction of our data strategy, and we encourage new ideas and tools to be introduced. This position has a long-term plan to evolve into a Head of role, where you will take on team leadership alongside the Head of Engineering.
Description
We are a long-standing client in the private investment space, building out our data capability and hiring a Principal Data Architect on a permanent basis. We offer a competitive salary between £100,000 and £110,000, alongside an excellent benefits package, which includes 40 days of holiday, a 20% pension contribution, private healthcare, a share scheme, and numerous other perks. This position is ideally suited for someone who appreciates being hands-on with technology while also seeking a role with influence and ownership.
