Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and initiatives
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS
- Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MariaDB, MySQL, and Postgres
- Ability to influence and shape DevOps culture and practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a hands-on technical role alongside leadership responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of DevOps professionals
- Oversee the modernization of our cloud platform and infrastructure
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance DevOps operations
- Drive initiatives to optimize deployment processes and system performances
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture and management
- Support and guide the team in resolving technical challenges
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the DevOps team
Description
We are a growing technology business based in London, offering a hybrid working model that allows flexibility with two days in the office. Our focus is on shaping the next phase of our cloud platform, and we are looking for a DevOps Manager to help us achieve this. With a competitive salary of £100k to £105k, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team, influence our DevOps culture, and work closely with the latest technologies in a supportive environment.
